Which Strat Guitar is better?(Starcaster Vs Squier)?

The 2 budget models from fender guitars both seem intresting. i tried out a Starcaster and really liked it with the amp, but i heard the whammy is crap, as for squier, i know a lot less about them, but i did try one out too and liked it, but did not get an idea of if it is better, as i wasnt able to try it out on a decent sized amp.

Which one is better from your experience

Squier is essentially the same company as Fender (the maker of the Starcaster.) Squier is just a cheaper brand. Squier tends to use cheaper parts to create an already popular guitar. If you’re just starting out playing a guitar, I’d stick with the much cheaper Squier, unless you feel that playing is a thing you will continue to pursue. Squier is a good brand, and offers the same looks as a Fender, without all of the flash of a Fender.
