Both include a bag, strap, DVD, tuner, and strings. The only difference I see is that the Squier comes with headphones.

But which guitar/package is better?

BTW, this is my first guitar, so I’m only looking for a starter kit.

I think that the two you mention are pretty similar, both have a tremelo bar and three pickups. They are the entry level line of Fenders, which is a decent brand.

I also found another ebay deal that you might look at. For beginning you dont need to spend a lot of money. Remember you can always upgrade if you find that you love playing and want to get a more professional model. If you start playing and find it’s not for you you wont be out alot of money if you buy a reasonable one.
