Does anyone know what the action is factory set to a Paul Reed Smith Guitars Soapbar II?
Recently I changed the strings, 09 -. 46 and I blew up the bridge and the action that caused the ground to go out of control. So if someone can help it would be great thank you,!
From what you describe, the problem is not really with the action (string height) but with the intonation (the position of deck chairs). 1 – Define the action of the bridge, setting up ropes at a height comfortable for you, ensuring to tune your guitar up and down the bridge and check all the keys to any fret-buzz. 2 – Using an electronic tuner to adjust intonation of each string separately. First adjust the string loose and then check the setting on the 12th fret. The note should be an exact 8 to above the chain loose. If it is higher, move the bit Sadler, whichever is less, move the Sadler's neck. Retune chain on each test and again until you get it right. This will solve the problem unless the cervix is damaged (spiral).
