How long does it take to learn the guitar?

i have been playing guitar for about 3 months and i can play allot of songs like come on get higher-matt nathenson, 1234 plain white ts’, maggie may-rod stewart, good riddance (time of your life)- green day, little pink houses- jhon mellencamp, just to name a few and i just got an electric (a new faded Laguna) and i can play three songs on it TNT- AcDc, Are You Gonna Go My Way- Lenny Kravitz, Gives u hell, and some of swing swing- aar. how long does it take it might sound bad but i will practice for however long it takes i already practice atleast 3 hours a day and love playing, but i want to get a band together and i have already met eith the singer and we played a few songs and it was pretty good, but we are going to have to play at my huge fourth of july part yso i have two months please help i need easy good songs or any tips. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! Thanxs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When do you learn? When do you stop? I could have the axe virgin playing pearl jam in five minutes, but I have been playing for years and I still havn’t learned everything. And I never will. Lately I am working on using my pinky more, and pinch harmonics. Theres always something new to try.
